Continental Cable LLC
and its affiliates have been producing wire rope since 1948 and has evolved into
a leading manufacturer of custom wire rope and wire rope assemblies. Continental
Cable expanded its product line to include extruded cable and an extensive
stock of standard cable hardware with the acquisition of GBG Industries
in 1989.
Continental Cable LLC/GBG Industries employs 65 people specializing in the manufacture of custom mechanical wire rope cable assemblies.
Other product lines include stainless steel and galvanized aircraft cable,
a complete line of cable related hardware and tools and plastic coated
cable.
Our
swaging, stranding, extrusion and machining capabilities make Continental
Cable and GBG Industries an excellent source for your custom assembly,
wire rope and component requirements.

wire rope products that we manufacture. We are constantly upgrading our
equipment to meet the changing needs of our customers, including the growing
demand for smaller manufacturing runs in shorter time periods.

Cable
Assemblies:
With fifteen hydraulic swagers
from 50 to 1500 tons and six rotary swaging machines, we are capable of
swaging 3/64" through 1 1/2" diameter fittings. Quality Control is offered
from start to finish and we are certified to ISO 9001:2000/AS 9100:2004.

Cable:
Import and Domestic cable
is offered in stainless steel and galvanized. Standard diameters range
from 3/64" through 3/8" and common constructions are 7 x 7, 7 x 19, 1 x
7, and 1 x 19. Other material, sizes and constructions are available upon
request.

Coated Cable:
We extrude PVC (vinyl), Nylon,
Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Hytrel, Urethane, and Pebax. Plastic coated
diameters range from .024" up to 5/8".
